Psychotherapy and Consultation
Our Approach
The Function Of The Therapeutic Relationship
The bond created by the therapeutic relationship can create a powerful interpersonal connection between the client and clinician, and out of this connection, clients are able to gain deeper awareness of the self and personal insight, as well as greater cognizance around behavioral patterns and choices that have led to unfulfilling, painful or difficult life situations.
The therapeutic relationship can help clients understand that they have within them whatever they need to heal, change, and thrive in life. It is important to note that therapy is not a “quick fix” and that it requires hard work, dedication, and commitment for change to happen.
My approach to treatment is evidence based, & focuses on personal strengths to help clients get back to feeling & functioning at their best.

No Surprises Act
In December 2020, Congress passed the No Surprises Act to reduce unexpected medical bills on patients. This goes into effect January 1, 2022. New information about this law and requirements just became available. Below you will find information regarding this law and links to gather more information.
There are important requirements when seeking out of network care or if you are uninsured. The information is still being clarified, however we are taking proactive steps to address this and provide notice and documentation.
Some health insurance coverage programs already have protections against high medical bills. You’re already protected against surprise medical billing if you have coverage through Medicare, Medicaid, Indian Health Services, Veterans Affairs Health Care, or TRICARE. The questionnaire will clarify this.
